Dylan came to me with an existing Wix site he'd built for himself, functional but ready for an upgrade. We made the switch to Framer to create a more responsive, polished experience that would better reflect the professionalism of his work.
The Goal
The core goal was clear: to get across the same information from his current site but in a much more professional and clear manner.
To get there, we first mapped out the questions his target customers would be likely to have when they visited the website. This way, the final website would answer their questions in order of likelihood as the user scrolls, creating a natural, trust-building journey.
The Process
To make sure we were fully aligned before building out the site, I delivered multiple hero section options, each representing a distinctly different visual direction. Hero sections, in case you’re unfamiliar, are the first section the user sees when they visit a website. Once a creative direction was locked in, I ran with it, checking in at key milestones to keep Dylan in the loop.
One of my favorite parts of this website is a custom "How It Works" section that walks the user through the beginning of Dept.1 Solution’s customer journey. This section was designed so future clients could see what the process looks like before they reach out to Dylan. I came up with the concept and design of this section to take out some of the guesswork as users consider what it would be like to work with Dylan.
The Result
The end result is a site that successfully positions Dept.1 Solutions as a credible, established, and trustworthy business, one that communicates professionalism and clarity throughout their new website.
