Sean came to me in need of a personal website that would authentically tell his story and give visitors a way to connect with him.
Brand Alignment
What made this project interesting is that the branding was already complete and proven to be effective within the target market. Sean works under Andy Elliott, one of the most recognized names in sales coaching, and he wanted to keep his personal brand closely tied to that of Andy Elliott’s. To keep a similar identity, I pulled design elements from Andy’s million-dollar brand. The result is a site that carries that same bold, premium, and high-confidence energy.
Custom Animations
Since Sean's site leans personal rather than corporate, there was room to take creative risks that resonated with visitors. I wanted to keep the attention span of people in their twenties and thirties, and give them a polished and high-end experience right from the get-go.
The opening transition is my favorite detail on the site. When you first load the site, it opens from left to right, slowly revealing Sean's hero section (the first section you see when you visit a website). This animation sets the tone beautifully for what users can expect from the website and from working with Sean.
I also implemented a custom cursor animation that carries the orange from Andy Elliott's website to Sean’s in the form of a circle that follows the user's cursor across the entire site. It's a small touch, but it creates an immersive, branded experience that quietly reminds users that they’re visiting a premium website.
Responsive Design
The site was built for every screen: desktop, mobile, and everything in between.
As the screen gets smaller, the layout automatically adjusts so nothing ever looks broken or out of place. The opening animation, the typography, the interactions all hold up regardless of the size of device someone visits the site with.
